From outdoor recreation to community events and festivals, there is something for everyone here. Outdoor lovers will find plenty of activities to enjoy as well.

The Uwharrie National Forest provides miles of hiking and biking trails, as well as lakes and rivers for fishing and swimming. The town also has several parks, including High Rock Lake Park, which offers kayaking, paddle boating, and disc golf. The town of Lexington also offers a variety of community events throughout the year.

The town also hosts the Lexington Christmas Parade, which features floats, marching bands, and more! The city of Lexington also offers plenty of cultural events. The city also has several museums, including the North Carolina Transportation Museum, which showcases the history of transportation in the state.

According to greatschools.org Lexington public schools score 5-9 stars out of 10. There are private schools available as well.

1333 homes sold in Lexington in 2022 ranging from $13,500  to $1,500,000 and The median home sold in 2022, sold for $270,000.

The largest number of sales happened between the prices of $250,000-$350,000, compared with 2021 where the largest number of sales occurred between $150,000 and $250,000.

20 homes sold over $800,000 and 12 of those were over $1,000,000, in 2021 only 2 sold over $1,000,000.
